A practical starting point

For the thoughts you keep coming back to.

Start with one thought pattern you want to handle differently. Use the course to notice when reflection becomes repetition and practise a useful next step.

  • You replay a conversation, searching for what someone really meant.
  • You keep revisiting a decision even when no new information has appeared.
  • One “what if” leads to another, and you struggle to bring your attention back to today.

Inside your 14-Day Overthinking Interrupt

Recognise the loop.
Choose your next step.

Bring one recurring thought pattern into your course practice, then apply what you learn to everyday situations.

  1. Recognise your loop

Notice the situations that draw you into repeated analysis. Learn to distinguish useful reflection from thinking that keeps circling the same point.

  2. Step back from “what if”

Recognise when hypothetical scenarios are taking up your attention. Practise creating space between a thought and your response.

  3. Choose a practical next step

Consider what decision or action the situation needs. Practise moving forward with the information available, without repeatedly reopening the same question.

  4. Redirect your attention

Bring your attention back to a useful task when you notice a loop. Keep practising to build steadier mental habits.

The fourteen-day structure gives you a place to begin. Building new habits takes repetition, and your experience will be individual.
